Council discussed this matter at their meeting on Monday 1st March 2021. They noted that Amber Valley Borough Council who would normally act as the Authority on Planning matters is only acting as a consultee. This is because the plan is large and would impact on areas such as Highways, Environment, Minerals etc as well as Planning, and therefore Derbyshire County Council will be taking the lead.

The Parish Council strongly objects to the proposed development of green fields east of Bowmer Lane, Fritchley set out in the e-mail from Savills sent to the Parish Council on 20th May 2020.
