Community Speed Watch
Crich Parish Council would like to hear from anyone interested in being part of a Community Speed Watch Group.
Community Speed Watch is a scheme to allow trained volunteers to address speeding concerns in their communities.
Volunteers would undertake high-visibility roadside speed monitoring operations, with a view to raising awareness and altering driver behaviour.
Vehicles exceeding the speed limit are referred to the Police with the aim of educating drivers to reduce their speeds.
A minimum of 5 people over 18 are required to set up the group.
Full training will be given by the Police.
Please email clerk@crich-pc.gov.uk to register your interest.
