The large Christmas tree is due to be installed in Crich Market Place on Wednesday 19th November 2025.

The Parish Council respectfully requests that you refrain from parking cars on the triangle above the water troughs from 8am on Tuesday 18th November 2025, this is to enable us to put the barriers in place during the morning of 18th November and ensure the area is clear for the arrival of the tree.

If there are any cars parked in the area above the troughs it means the tree cannot be installed and will have to be sent away until the area is free of vehicles.

As specialist equipment is required for the installation, you can imagine making new arrangements at this time of year is difficult, time consuming and quickly becomes very expensive. It also means the installation of the lights cannot go ahead, and will bring a delay to the Christmas cheer we are all looking forward to.

The lights on the large tree will be installed on the 20th November. The majority of the small trees and lights have been installed and the switch on date is the 20th November.
