Crich Beacon Lighting

To commemorate 80 years of peace since the end of World War II, beacons across the country were lit on the 8th May 2025. Crich beacon was included in this.

A few words and prayers were shared by Cllr Richard Walsh & Rev. Jo Honour.

Crich Parish Council would like to thank everyone who joined us for the lighting of the beacon.

Special thanks go to the community volunteers for helping to organise and run the event, Crich standard, Crich Scouts, The Crich Fete Committee, Crich Fire Station & The Mercian Regiment.
