Installation of Defibrillators by Parish Council
The Parish Council has acquired three defibrillators for installation in the Parish. It has decided one will be located in Fritchley, one in Whatstandwell and one in Crich.
Council is currently working on specific locations and is taking advice from East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) regarding their installation and use.
There is already one defibrillator located at the Fire Station and another at the Tramway Museum both available 24/7. We are advised by the Fire Service that these two provide adequate cover for Crich, however we believe an additional defibrillator would benefit the community.
As soon as our plans are finalised, exact locations will be posted, the defibrillators registered with EMAS and the Police, and training will be arranged open to all.
