Matlock based charity Rural Action Derbyshire (RAD) has set up a Rural Hardship Support Fund to help people in rural areas of Derbyshire who are suffering extreme hardship as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. See attached document for more detail:

The Parish Council's first virtual meeting was held on Monday 6 April 2020. All Members attended and the meeting was a great success.
The Council would like to express gratitude to David Lane for facilitating the meeting, and training everyone in how to use this new way of communicatiing. Thank you David! All your hard work is most appreciated.

Unfortunately, due to current Government restrictions the Annual Parish Meeting that was due to take place at 7.00pm on 6th April 2020, at the Glebe Field Centre, Crich, has had to be postponed.
The Parish Council will follow new instruction regarding the Annual Parish Meeting when received.

Due to the current situation with the Coronavirus, the Parish Council Office is currently closed. Services are being provided wherever possible remotley during normal office hours Monday to Wednesday each week.
On Government instruction the playground and outdoor gym equipment are closed, and we ask that they not be used. Thank you.

On a sunny February 2020 afternoon, Bishop Jan came to consecrate the large newly available section of Crich Parish Council's Burial Ground. It was a moving service, with the whole group pacing round the boundary of the new area saying psalms, and Bishop Jan saying a prayer at major stops such as corners.
